Sometimes Im more amazed at how this team finds ways not to score then how they score runs. Consistently failing to get easy runs with the bases loaded or men on 3rd less than 2 outs takes a lot of effort.
Why dont the stars learn situational hitting. When there is a runner at third with less then two outs donot try to hit the ball out of the park. Instead, try making contact and hit a fly ball to score the runner from third.
Are you also getting annoyed?

The Pirates have traded center fielder Nate McLouth to the Atlanta Braves tonight, according to two sources.
In return, the Pirates will get two pitchers, Jeff Locke and Charlie Morton, and outfielder Gorkys Hernandez.
Was it a fair deal?
we will wait and see what happens with the prospects
Nate is a solid player though.
Only a fool could say such a thing:
"I'm not denying that I went to GNC and all that stuff. I took a lot of different things that, you know, maybe at that time, maybe early enough, if I would have been tested, who knows? I could have been taking stuff had they tested me back then. Maybe I would have tested [positive for a banned supplement]. I don't know."
Why would anyone in there given mind say such a thing, when they are playing MLB baseball?
Only one thing to say,
Randy Johnson is FOOLISH
Here are my reasons
REPEATS HIMSELF- I Think Sterling really has lost some cognizant functions. I was traveling via automobile the last time Halladay faced the Yanks....After every single pitch, Sterling commenced to say that Roy was a great pitcher and the Yanks can't afford to fall behind.
Yes, what he said was true, but he repeated himself after every pitch. It is all he said -- for 9 innings. I thought I was going to die. It's like seeing that Jeter-edge commercial over and over again.
SHTICK- He tries to anticipate a play so he can go into his shtick and it always backfires on him. Just call the game as it is happening - pretty please?
Dave Eiland had a carrer 5.74 era in 92 games. What does he know about pitching? 2009 Yankees era as of May 10 5.86. Coincedence? I think not ! The staff looks lost at times. The bullpen are not in top shape. If we can not blame Eiland for the bad pitching why is he there? Why have a pitching coach if it just a matter executing pitches. All pitchers at the major league level know how to pitch. So fire Eiland and do not replace him. CC, AJ, Joba, Andy and Phil know how to pitch, so let them do it . When they need relief let them choose who relieves them. So maybe we should consider wishing a good bye to Mr Eiland.
This is why you should boo texeira next time you are at a yankee game:
It's my money that paid for the Homerdome, the overpriced tickets, and those underachieving players. I bet Hank & Hal are booing too, after dumping all that dough and getting mediocrity AGAIN!
If the players can't handle being booed (which happens to them at EVERY other MLB ballpark that doesn't give up 8 homers in one night), then they need to take their sensitive side and get into flower arranging or pottery. This USED to be a boy's game played by men, I kinda think some of these men, Tex included, can handle it even if if the boo bashers can't.
This ain't Modern Parenting 101 kids, this is adult life where hard knocks come with the territory. Stop personifying this as if you were dealing with preschoolers. Should we put Tex in the time out chair, (AKA bench) instead, or might that hurt his feelings too?
